Come join us as AIRROC celebrates its 20th Anniversary at its Annual Legacy Transactions and Networking Forum from Sunday, October 19 through Tuesday October 21, 2025. If you are a legacy professional, this popular event is a “must attend” conference that draws nearly 300 delegates from around the world for three days of inspiration, learning, networking and deal making. This year’s gathering will be even more exhilarating as we mark the 20th Anniversary of the founding of AIRROC. We have many special surprises in store with some familiar alumni returning to share stories about the founding of AIRROC and the 20-year journey to shape and redefine the legacy sector. We are excited to celebrate the relationships we have built along the way. As we reflect on the two decades of transformational change, we are incredibly grateful to our members and partners who have supported our mission and enabled us to achieve this significant milestone.
We return again to The Westin Jersey City Newport, located at 479 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, New Jersey. The hotel is just a few hundred yards from the Hudson River with spectacular views of the New York City skyline. It is within walking distance to the PATH train, a short ride away from New York City, and
boasts a number of restaurants and shops close by, as well as deluxe amenities.
The event will kick off with a opening reception as delegates arrive on Sunday. Monday will begin our Education Day, with Brain Snover, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Berkshire Hathaway as the keynote speaker. Many of you may recall that Brian was also the 2007 AIRROC Person of the Year. An Award Ceremony/Pre Dinner reception will follow where the 2025 Person of the Year and the NextGen Scholarship winner will be announced.
Similar to past years, the Education Sessions will be offered as a hybrid with the ability to join via live stream. Delegates attending in-person benefit from two full days of reserved networking tables for transaction meetings and with our many social events, will be able to network, make new connections and catch up with industry colleagues.
The Education Sessions will include hot topics such as: an overview of the legacy market from PwC; discussions on ethical and regulatory issues involving AI; emerging risks; and a special look back at AIRROC through the years. Hear from top industry figures from across the legacy market share their insights and perspectives, putting you in an even better position to achieve your objectives in 2025.
To top it off, our gala dinner will again be hosted at Battello – steps away from The Westin. Experience a breathtaking sunset while mingling with colleagues and friends with a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River from the deck at Battello. Regular attendees know that this is an evening not to be missed as we all look forward to this evening every year!
Tuesday again provides for the opportunity to schedule meetings all day with other event attendees in order to progress matters between companies. There will also be a final send-off cocktail reception early on Tuesday.
