After more than a decade of service to AIRROC, Carolyn Fahey has announced that she will depart her role as Executive Director. When the news of Carolyn’s resignation spread, there was an outpouring of sadness and a great sense of loss among the AIRROC community. Carolyn’s leadership has made AIRROC a stronger professional organization, and her involvement has solidified and expanded AIRROC’s mission and standing in the insurance industry ecosystem.
Chair of the Board, Dawn Ballin said, “On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Carolyn for her many years of service, dedication and enthusiasm. Her departure leaves a huge hole yet her legacy will continue to make an impact on the organization. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents and we wish you the very best as you embark on the next chapter in your professional journey.”
Carolyn stated, “Leading AIRROC over the past 13 years has been a true honor. The group of individuals who have served on the Board of Directors and Advisory Council over the years are among the best and the brightest in the business, and I’m grateful to call each and every one a friend and colleague. My departure is, of course, bittersweet, as AIRROC has been my passion and a core part of my identity. I can look back with pride at all that we have accomplished together. I am forever grateful for the many colleagues around the world who I have worked with as part of the AIRROC family.”
One of Carolyn’s hallmark achievements is leaving AIRROC in a strong position for continued growth and the Association’s infrastructure allows us to carry on without missing a step.
AIRROC is also pleased to announce Katie Reynolds has been selected as the new Executive Director with a start date of June 2, 2025. Carolyn has been gracious enough to stay on to assist with the transition through June 13 and after in a consulting role.

In her first 90 days, she will be reaching out to introduce herself to all members. Please join us in welcoming Katie to this new role.
