Come join us as AIRROC celebrates its 20th Annual Legacy Transactions and Networking Forum from Sunday, October 20 through Tuesday October 22, 2024. If you are a legacy professional, this popular event is a “must attend” conference that draws nearly 300 delegates from around the world for three days of learning, inspiration, networking and deal making.
This year we return again to The Westin Jersey City Newport, located at 479 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, New Jersey. The hotel is just a few hundred yards from the Hudson River with spectacular views of the New York City skyline. It is within walking distance to the PATH train, a short ride away from New York City, and
boasts a number of restaurants and shops close by, as well as deluxe amenities.
The event will kick off with a Tailgate Party as delegates arrive on Sunday.
Monday will begin our Education Day, with Elaine Rocha, former Global Chief Investment Officer of AIG as the keynote speaker. Similar to past years, the Education Sessions will be offered as a hybrid with the ability to join via live stream. Delegates attending in-person benefit from two full days of reserved networking tables for transaction meetings and with our many social events, will be able to network, make new connections and catch up with industry colleagues.
The Education Sessions will include hot topics such as an analysis of the current legacy market, a discussion on asset management, updates on climate change and PFAS, a look at the talent crisis and recruitment, and an engaging look at AI and uses for the legacy sector. Hear top industry figures share their insights, putting you in an even better position to achieve your objectives in 2025.
After we wrap the Education Session, there is an Award Ceremony/Pre Dinner reception where the Person of the Year, the individual chosen to receive the NextGen Leadership Award, and the recipient of the Trish Getty Scholarship will be announced.
To top it off, our gala dinner will again be hosted at Battello – steps away from The Westin. Experience a breathtaking sunset while mingling with colleagues and friends with a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River from the deck at Battello. Regular attendees look forward to this dinner each year and know that this is an evening not to be missed!
Tuesday again provides for the opportunity to schedule meetings all day with other event attendees in order to progress matters between companies. New this year is a luncheon workshop hosted by AIRROC NextGen that features an educational panel on the Basics of Arbitration. Before we all head home, there is one final networking opportunity with our farewell reception.
